VISION
To be an environment for children where teachers and parents work together toward positive Christian witness and academic excellence.
Our Christian mandate
This opportunity is for partnership in the following:
1. A tool for ministry to minister Christ to children – But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away; you give them something to eat!” Matthew 14:16
2. Provide a safe place for young people to develop Christian character and receive an excellent education – “…making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil.” Ephesians 5:16
3. To help train young people in the way they should go – Train up a child in the way he should go [and in keeping with his individual gift or bent], and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

2. International and Traditional Curriculum
There are a wide range of subjects with the flexibility in how to offer them. Montessori and Pearson Edexcel supports us in offering a curriculum that suits our context, culture and ethos, and that we tailor to our students’ needs. The goal is to graduate students with will be well rounded and able to transition to whatever educational system they desire [traditional GES, Cambridge, Pearson etc] with a high level of quality after grade 6.
3. Teaching and Learning
VCS also provides professional development for our teachers, to help them improve their performance and practice throughout their careers. Teaching practices that develop the ability of students to reflect on their learning are encouraged. Schools can draw on a wealth of teaching and learning resources from the VCS training programs.
4. Assessment
Pearson designs assessments to be reflect an international standard in Maths, Science, English and Computing and offers and international benchmark for students and the school.
4. Standard and Recognition
Montessori, GES and Pearson are well recognized systems and carry weight at all levels. This enables our graduates to have a wide choice for their secondary education both in Ghana and internationally.
